is: Tom Draughon: Guitar, Banjo, Fiddle & Lead Vocals Jed Malischke: Banjo, Dobro, Guitar, Vocals Bruce Qualey: Bass, Harmony Vocals with sometime special guests: Molly O: Mandolin, Fiddle, Harmony & Lead Vocals Randy Sabien: Fiddle, Harmony & Lead Vocals Liesel Wilson: Fiddle, Harmony & Lead Vocals TrueGrass is a Bluegrass band in the old style, covering material by the classic bands of old with reverence, but also adapting modern material and originals to the bluegrass idiom. Tom Draughon formed this band as part of a multimedia theatre show about the rural roots and history of bluegrass. Tom is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, primarily playing Doc Watson style guitar and fronting lead vocals. MBOTMA's own Jed Malischke holds down the banjo / dobro fort, assisted by Bruce Qualey on bass. And they ALL sing! |
